Hi! My name is DeeAnn Dean. I am a wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. I am also a writer, poet, dreamer, agrarian, and a curious student of this journey we call life. I have spent the last 25 years in the health and wellness industry, and have sought to understand health’s inner and outer workings.

Many things have evolved and changed for me along the way and as I’ve stepped into the second half of life, I’ve been more willing to release the culture’s definition of health and success, and trust Wisdom’s strange and mystical teachings. One thing I have noticed during this journey is an ever-deepening awareness of my connection with Creation, Creatures, and the Life that flows through all living things.

So, after 25 years and at the lovely age of 51, this is what my understanding of “Health” boils down to… Living with the place I love, wanting to cultivate good stories, good conversations, good food, and good friends, and looking for ways to taste, smell, see, hear and touch BEAUTY.

Perhaps, deep down we all know the only answer to what ails us is not another individual pull yourself up by your bootstraps to-do-list, insane workout, restrictive diet, or self-help program but a Living Loving Community. A real living place where we can take our boots off, ground ourselves in Mother Earth, lie down in green pastures, share a meal, and simply Breathe, Listen, Ask, Look, Touch© our Sacred and Beautiful lives.
