Who is this For?

The L.L.C. is a fellowship of men and women who have already stepped into or are close to stepping across the sacred threshold into the second half of life.

Though not explicitly tied to age, the second half of life is most often recognized as a progression that begins with awareness and meanders through a time of awakening, acknowledging, and accepting the loss of control and pursuing our true calling and purpose.

This group is for anyone who wants to:

  • Participate in meaningful conversations about the opportunities and possibilities awaiting each one of us in the second half of life

  • Explore the rich and fertile places in our lives ready for harvest

L.L.C. Principles

We can only maintain a higher level of consciousness and live more meaningfully by developing practical ways of living that do not contradict who we are. Like Thoreau says, “If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them.”

Communities, relationships, and individuals who practice the basics build strong foundations that include principles, virtues, common sense, practices, personal connections, and experiences of awe and wonder.

Principles are most vital to individual and group formation. Like practices, principles provide the necessary structure to build and clearly communicate our ideals.

The L.L.C. Principles we teach and abide by:

  • The hour-long group will be a time to participate in a Living Loving Community where everyone belongs.

  • Learn how to Practice The Basics and become a wise and kind Mentor.

  • Classes, workshops, and retreats are available to members.

  • Be encouraged, inspired, and nourished by weekly converations that help you remember who you are and how you are naturally designed to be a healhty, whole, holy human being.

  • Participate in a community committed to health formation and helping each other.
